She provided various health education & wellness programs including a company wide health fair as well as personal training and the instruction of group exercise classes. During that time, she attended Montclair State University and earned a Masters Degree in Health Education with a concentration in Health Promotion. She also held a certification with the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health Fitness Instructor for 8 years.
After having two of her three boys, she went back to work part-time as a personal trainer in a health club for several years. In 2005, she “jumped out” of the fitness world for awhile to have her third child and then joined the team at Optimum Health in September 2008 as a Physical Therapy Rehab Aide/ Wellness Services Coordinator. She is currently beginning personal training again and teaching small group fitness classes at Optimum Health. She is certified by the American Sports & Fitness Association as a Personal Trainer.
Her days at Springfield College strongly emphasized the “Spirit, Mind, Body” connection which was the symbol of the college. She recognizes the importance of all three aspects being in sync to achieve total health & wellness. The mind and spirit need to be in the right place to achieve the desired body transformation. We will work together to achieve your goals!! She is a firm believer that you can achieve anything when you put your mind to it!
